ChatGPT is stealing data or Not?

ChatGPT is stealing data or Not? ChatGPT (OpenAI) is one of the most talked about words in the world today. Which has added a new dimension data steal

ChatGPT (OpenAI) is one of the most talked about words in the world today. Which has added a new dimension to the entire technology world. ChatGPT is developed by US startup OpenAI in collaboration with Microsoft. The chatbot can answer questions like a human. Can even copy anyone's writing style.

ChatGPT has become a thorn in the neck of many as it is useful for many. Thousands of people have lost their jobs because of this AI chatbot. This includes teachers, writers, media, and freelancers.

Microsoft already has spent hundreds of billions dollars on its development. Recently ChatGPT was added to Microsoft search engine Bing. Since its launch in 2022 November, the chatbot already has been used by millions of peoples.

However, There are worry’s in various quarters about the propensity risks of using artificial intelligence. For example, crores of people may lose their jobs due to this. Besides, there is also the danger of possibility misinformation and bias with the use of AI.

Earlier in the week, tech industry figures including Elon Musk called for a moratorium on the use of these AI systems. They fear that the race to develop AI technology has gotten out of control.

However, the European country Italy has banned this popular chatbot. That is, the use of chatgpt is prohibited in Italy. The country's data protection authority said on Friday (March 31) that artificial intelligence (AI) technology has been banned due to security concerns. This decision is effective immediately. But why this decision of Italy? The Italian government claims that ChatGPT is stealing user data. Also this platform has no mechanism to verify the age of any users. As a result, many users under the age of 18 may turn to illegal material. And that's why the Italian government has ordered to stop chat GPT service immediately.

The Italian watchdog said ChatGPT was banned because it could not verify the age of users and did not understand the privacy of their data. A privacy breach related to user conversations and payment information on the platform was noticed on March 20.

According to them, there is no legal basis to "justify the massive collection and storage of personal data" for the purpose of "training" ChatGPT's underlying algorithms. Also, since there is no mechanism to verify the age of users, chatbots "may give inappropriate answers compared to minors' level of development and awareness".

Italian authorities have said that ChatGPT will have 20 days to respond to what measures will be taken to address their concerns. A fine of up to two million euros or four percent of annual income can be imposed if found guilty.

Also, thousands of people have lost their jobs due to chatbots. The chatbot has become an alternative for many professions. According to Bill Gates, Microsoft founder, Next 40 years, OpenAI's ChatGPT is going to be the 'revolutionary technology'.

If there is talk about OpenAI ChatGPT in different countries of the world, some countries have not yet given permission to use it. OpenAI has decided not to enable ChatGPT in countries like China, Russia, North Korea, and Iran yet. However, Italy became the first country in the world to ban chat GPT.

ChatGPT can write essays, apply for jobs or applications, make contracts, explain events, and create short reports. It can also write computer programs, poems, or songs for users. Again, if you want, you can write your university report or presentation through this AI.

As a result, at least 300 million people in the world may lose full-time jobs due to artificial intelligence or artificial intelligence (AI). It could take a quarter of jobs in the US and Europe. But AI is also effective in opening up new areas of work and increasing productivity. Recently, a reports of multinational bank Goldman Sachs has informed this information.

According to the report, the total annual volume of goods and services produced globally could increase by up to seven percent due to AI.

If advances in generative AI are anything like IT's past, it could reduce big numbers employment in the near term, the report concludes.

But experts are still uncertain about the long-term impact of AI. "We don't know how it will evolve or how organizations will integrate AI into their work," said Torsten Bell, chief executive of think tank Resolution Foundation. But that doesn't mean AI won't disrupt the way we work. But we can also focus on potential quality-of-life improvements through high-productivity work and cheap services.
